A picker truck earns its keep on an oil and gas site by lifting pipe, casing, tools, pumps and skids where a larger crane cannot go or cannot wait. A knuckle boom crane folds up behind the cab for the road, reaches over obstacles on site and places a load precisely. How we match a crane to oilfield work
Every oilfield crane truck starts with the job, not the brochure. Before we quote a crane we ask:
- The heaviest load and how far out it has to be lifted, because a crane's capacity drops
as the reach grows
- What is being handled: pipe and casing, tools, pumps, tanks or general freight
- The truck: a chassis you already own, or one we help you find, and the axle ratings and
frame it has
- Where it will work: land sites, docks or barges, and how much of the year it spends in salt air
- The controls and attachments: radio remote, winch, jib, rotator or pipe grab

Custom crane trucks
Pick the truck, pick the crane, pick the options, and we build the combination in our own shop. The same shop builds crane trucks for many other trades, which you can see at drywallcranes.com. If your site requires a particular inspection, rating or paperwork for a crane, tell us at the start and we will tell you straight whether we can meet it.
Used oilfield cranes and crane trucks
We do not list used cranes on this site. Used knuckle boom cranes and crane trucks, when we have them, are at drywallcranes.com. If you are buying a used oilfield crane somewhere else, we can look it over before you pay for it.
Parts and service for the crane you already run
For PM cranes, order parts online at the PM parts store or call us. For other makes we are an independent shop: we source parts by model and serial number, new and used, and we service and repair the crane and the truck under it. See oilfield crane parts and service.

Which crane brands do you sell new?
PM knuckle boom cranes, as an authorized PM dealer. We are also an authorized Rotobec dealer. We are not a dealer for any other crane brand.
Can you put a crane on a truck I already own?
Often, yes. Send the truck's make, model, year, wheelbase and axle ratings with what you need to lift, and we will tell you whether it can carry the crane you need.
Do you ship cranes outside Florida?
Yes. Tell us where the crane is going and the freight is quoted with it.
